Title Preventive Maintenance Service for One (1) Oxford Nanoimaging ONI Nanoimager Description of Requirement The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute (NCI), intends to award a contract to Oxford Nanoimaging Inc on a sole-source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, for the acquisition of Annual Service Plan - Nanoimager, the Government intends to solicit and award a Purchase Order on a sole-source basis because the Government's minimum technical requirements will be satisfied by Oxford Nanoimaging Inc. Tumor cells, immune cells, and irradiated tissues release large quantities of biologically active nanoscale extracellular vesicles (EVs). The Translational Nanobiology Section within the Laboratory of Pathology (LP) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute (NCI), Center for Cancer Research (CCR), is developing new ways to investigate these EVs as biological agents, biomarkers, and therapeutic targets.
