TCA will provide the development, qualification, manufacture, and delivery of DAS with a built-in OAT display unit which will prevent loss of aircraft due to out-of-control flight (OCF) and mitigate a known issue with F-5 Functional Check Flights (FCF), respectively. This effort was issued as a sole source to TCA under NAICS Code 334511 (Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing) which resulted in the placement of a contract with a two-year period of performance.
